Doubt whether Boris will be at PMQs because he always has a more important engagement when the sh*t hits the fan. He was and he clearly brought a spade with him to dig an even deeper hole. The man is morally bankrupt, a serial liar and without shame, but those of us who didn't vote for this government knew that anyway.

Something him to celebrate, with a new sprog, yesterday. While wishing them well, you have to feel for his offspring, who will all no doubt look like him, his father, siblings etc. Just hope they have better characters too ...

Never cease to be amazed at how politicians suddenly seem capable of talking common sense once they are out of office - apart from Edwina Currie and Nigal Farage that is, but then they were always terminal dickheads anyway.

Oh dear, 'tis the season to go PM kicking and should anyone be surprised? The Christmas party scandal has reached ludicrous proportions as we hear Simon Case, the appointed investigator also had one and has rightly stepped down. You couldn't make it up. Add in the other stuff and the car crash assumes motorway pile up in the fog proportions. The Express now a lonely voice of support, with even the Times, Mail, Telegraph and FT joining the criticism. The serious side to all this is how many people will now take notice of anything the government says, with trust in them so low, even among the Parliamentary Tory party? Not a good time to be going into another Covid crisis, so thank goodness most folk are taking the booster jab advice seriously. Suspect the government are now shitting themselves at the prospect of bringing back lockdowns again and simply waiting until after Christmas to deliver the bad news.

It's another day, another disaster with what is the most corrupt government of our lifetimes. Of course nobody is listening any more. Why would they?
I notice the people having a pop a year ago have long since departed because I was 100% right about Johnson. Anyone who voted for this and slated people like me... Well done.
On the good news front, Greens took a seat off Tories on Ashford council

Anyone still in doubt needed to witness Dominic Raab claiming it was a business meeting because they were all in suits when hardly anyone was in a suit. If you are still doubting then you are literally denying what your eyes see.

The Daily Star have an ongoing campaign to look for Raab's brain and doubt they will be successful any time soon. That business meeting was going on around the same time police arrested two ladies for sitting on a bench in the Peak District, having a chat over a take away coffee. Must be pretty good working in Number 10, if that is their idea of a business meeting. Alternatively, maybe we should not be surprised at decision making if this is how they go about it, though perhaps they can at least be trusted to organise a piss up in a brewery.

Hopefully, people will, slowly but surely, realise that engaging with the world they live in is better than some mythical ideas about more freedom by kicking out people who are a bit different.

So far we have Johnson reverse ferreting on his promise to cut VAT on fuel, an import system shambles that will cause chaos, the reintroduction of roaming charges by some mobile providers, possible threat to the steel industry after EU got lowered tariffs from the US and touring musicians being able to get free-roaming visas in Spain only. On the plus side we have the reintroduction of crown symbols on pint glasses.
Sajis Javid has been complaining about dangerous lies after his house was stalked by some mad anti-vaxxer. Words fail me!

If only that were true. Does that mean we can expect your posts to reduce to only one an hour?

Beware Boris the Teflon Coated! His original master plan of ensuring herd immunity at the start of the pandemic is sneaking in by the side door - though it is arguable that we do have to learn to live be with the thing at some point. Whether that is now, remains to be seen. Having tested positive, by both LF and PCR on Sunday, presume I am now part of the 'great confused'. My NHS app tells me isolate for ten days, but a subtext also says LFT tests on days six and seven get me out of isolation earlier, based purely on when symptoms started. Had a cold over Christmas, so does this count? Wife had a positive test, nominally Day 6 this morning, so still confined to barracks, but can understand if people have no idea what to do and just stay in for ten days from the first positive test, though this hardly gets the economy going. You'd think by now that advice would be clearer, based on two years of the pandemic. Anyway, we can only hope that opposition parties (and indeed the 1922 Committee) are making a list of all Bojo's fuckups, because you can be sure he and his cronies will be hoping the electorate will soon forget about them when we next exercise our franchise - be it left or right handed.🤪🤫😜🤣🙃

I expect people like you who voted for this do wish I would shush so your embarrassment could be hidden. How telling that you are not rabbiting on about some master plan of a Singapore-style economy, like you were last year. Thousands needlessly dead, lack of staff, import/exports all Ower the shop, red tape ramping up, staff shortages, inflation ramping up, cost of living problems. Still we have our black passports and some crowns on glasses
