So which of my facts are not facts then and what number do you mean by many? It would be nice to get an answer unlike the last time you chucked out this bland statement, as though it is a fact. You think I read all that stuff? Law of averages says I'm correct. You and others just pollute this board with your regurgitated Grauniad Outrage stories, never say anything new and believe your own bull. Tedious. Anyway... This Freedom day stuff, not making much difference to me - still working from home (as is OS Junior), still wearing masks to shops along with everyone else. Was nice to go into a (nearly empty) pub with no mask and survey the ales on offer before taking a seat (outside) with friends for a few jars. I see that there is discontent in France and Australia about new measures, and my Finnish pal says they're bracing for a 4th wave. Still no sign of any country doing things perfectly...

Hands up who will or who has worn a mask inside the Gallagher this season?

Not from the Guardian: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJQAU4ILFNcQuite a good summary. Slightly out of date though - the deaths and hospitalisations are now going up faster - and it rather skips over the effect of age on vaccinations (they get a lot less effective over 70ish). But otherwise a good explanation of what's going on and why, without having to wade through the data.

Hands up who will or who has worn a mask inside the Gallagher this season? I didn't for the relatively small crowd (and social distancing) of the Sheppey game, but I felt quite uncomfortable (kept telling myself "we are outside, we are outside"!) But I most certainly will be for 'normal' games - until the vaccination rate is a lot higher, at least. In the MS, it shouldn't be too risky, but I wouldn't stand in the Town End shed or on the Genco with all the yoof. Although, with almost 4 weeks to go until the season kicks off, who knows how things will be by then...

Hands up who will or who has worn a mask inside the Gallagher this season? Wore a mask when ordering a drink at the outside bar, and in the toilet. Didn't wear it in the main stand as I wasn't that close to anyone. Also, masks aren't really needed outside.

Should be pretty safe in the main stand, most of the patrons are of an age to have been double jabbed.

Like many of your "facts", not a fact. Only Javid has it. There are facts and then there are NWS facts.

Notice how nws, when confronted with his blatant inaccuracy, goes off on an agenda of his own choice instead of admitting to being wrong. It's almost as if he's been taking lessons from Boris.
Re what I said about other countries - I'm sure that for every Frenchman burning down a vaccine station and for every "angry" Australian, there are hundreds of other people just shrugging and getting on with their lives and playing by the rules - as there are in this country. But people / climate / economies not doing much doesn't make headline news...

Short version is you lied. Why didn't you just admit it instead of resorting to your Daily Mailesque rampage? I agree no countries are perfect. Which ones are doing a worse job than us?

I'm happy to say that I should have said that Javid was confirmed as having it while Johnson and Sunak are isolating as a result. You'd already corrected what I said. I wasn't aware you would be upset by my failure to mark your marking of my work. As for taking lessons from Johnson. You have accused me of getting loads of things wrong before then claiming you don't read what I write. You have then tried to point at a squirrel by saying no country is perfect. I think you may be Johnson, Cummings and Trump rolled into one.

Most of your facts are actually opinions. What you quote as facts are simply sources that support your arguments. It's strange how equally reputable sources that don't support your arguments are dismissed as lies. As with Oxford Stone... What are you referring to exactly? Try and do a bit better than the hapless Oxford Stone, by not going into gammon snarling rage

Does everybody agree that Alex Johnson took the proverbial at the weekend when it was decided that he and Sunak had, by chance, been chosen for a daily testing programme that allowed them to avoid self-isolation before deciding 158 minutes later that they were going to self-isolate? If you don't agree (tips a wink at the Johnson supporters like OS, Sennockian and Dave U) then why not?

I'm still voting Lib Dem but again don't let the facts get in the way of your distorted opinions. I've read enough of your, erm, output over the years to know that posts of yours which are both factual (as opposed to opinionated) and interesting are few and far between. I think the French and Aussie governments are doing the right thing but the news will focus on the angry few (probably Pierre du Nord Ouest and... nsw?!?), as ever. No squirrels hurt in the writing of my post (don't understand the metaphor and cba to try...)

Haven't voted conservative since Johnson won the leadership election so you can tip your wink somewhere else.
