You could protest by burning the polling station down. Then attacking the firefighters, as that seems to be the done thing nowadays. I am in no way, shape or form religious but I would definitely say burning a church down is a no-no.

Labour wont be any worse, but they wont be any better! thats the issue the country is facing. The problem is the country is insolvent. Public services have been cut and there still isn’t enough money to do the basics right. People want better education, a better NHS but are not willing to have tax increases. People want the gap between the rich and poor to stop stretching but people balk at the idea of taxing private schools or increasing taxes. People want our farming and industry to increase and imports to decrease but you can’t address the labour shortage because either people don’t want immigration but also don’t want tighter benefits rules. We are 55 million people. If we want things to improve, some of us are going to have to pay for it. Labour haven’t made it clear how they will address the problems because they dont have to because the Torys have made it easy. The Torys cant say anything credible bacause they led us here. Reform cobbled together a manifesto, sorry contract, thats everything people want to hear with no plan on delivering other than "we will improve inefficiencies" and they know theyll not need to back it up. what a mess

I don’t think most people mind paying taxes as long as they perceive them as being fair. But how can you expect ordinary people to pay more when multinational companies don’t pay their fair share and people like Sunak’s wife can avoid taxation by claiming nondom status.

Seems like the election result is going to be extraordinary and historical.
Even 'Earl Grey' is under threat .

Heart says green like usual, head says Labour, just in case they can actually challenge for the seat.

As Labour have walked this election even though its only 02.30 I fully expect Kier(someone please shout him)Starmer to make the next 5 years as bad if not worse.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, though notable that it is the Tory vote being split with Reform that has largely cost them. Look at the numbers: Reform polled more than Libdems, but got just a handful of seats v 60+. Why anyone would vote for Farage is beyond me, but Clacton was majorly Brexit, so he bought him myself a shoe in there. The 10k who voted Reform in Chatham and Aylesford more worrying. However, Labour are in and we can only hope they will be more responsible and govern for the country, not themselves.
