Interesting that these type of things always pop up when man utd are in a bad patch.
Remember the last attempt by them and ac Milan to create a European super league, just so happened when neither team qualified for Europe.
Reading some of the proposal it would appear that united want to keep the status quo of the big six teams and reduce the money that other teams get, that way they can keep teams like Leicester, Everton and Wolves at arms length so that united continue to get European football season.
They want to abolish the community shield and the league cup, so a charity game when a lot of the money raised goes to charity. Plus the league cup is a great source of extra income for the teams lower down the table.
Comes across as a bit of a bribe to get united and Liverpool more power in the game and prick parry supports it so no doubt been slipped a nice big brown envelope.

Wasn't Parry a former Chief Exec of Liverpool? If so it all starts to make sense to his MO. The FA are also noticable by their silence.
