Because he's seeing it from the point of view of someone who wants to follow the game without paying for it. daveu Mr Highandmighty as usual. Already posted I would be happy to pay for audio commentary. Personally, I actually like football on the 'radio' as it means I can get on with something else as well, but that's unlikely now it seems if all games are streamed and Stoneslive aren't able to broadcast. How about you lighten up a bit and try to see the humour in it. Or do you not do irony?

I agree re radio commentary and being able to do other things, however we are in different times and all clubs, Havant as well as Stones need to get revenue where they can all the time there are no fans. Not ideal and I am not sure what commentary Havant will have. You could record it and watch it later.. I am now thinking of that famous Likely Lads episode re trying not to find out the score :-) England F..... looded out🤣🤣

Agree it's probably a good time to play them, and hoping they won't be quite up to speed yet. Two wins from our first two league games would be a great start.
I can't stream Saturday. Heading to watch this highly rated, and heavily funded Chatham super squad away at Beckenham. Will report back on if Matt Bodkin and Jack Evans still cut the mustard and need to be bought back in...

Not heavily funded enough to beat the Mighty Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday night...

Thinking of going there myself as it's easy on the train and only a couple of hundred yards from the station and theres a pub en route.

Those of us who remember their conduct last season may boycott the stream. Especially the officials. I recall one of their commentary team saying we had the worst ground in the league because the ‘gentlemen’ had to dry off a chair which had been out in the rain. Not to mention threatening to a steward to throw one of our fans off of the gantry after we scored. Obviously, not to said fan’s face.
Edit: Anyone who has set foot in our press gantry realises this is unavoidable when it rains heavily. And paper towels were provided that certainly did the job!

There’s no grudge like a non league grudge.

There’s no grudge like a non league grudge. I hear what you are saying, but the pockets it will line do not sit right with me personally.

It was a ground I was planning on visiting this season, so it's 9 quid vs £15 or whatever they charge to get in, plus chips, programme, etc - so look on it as them losing ten quid, rather than it costing you nine...

There's no Stones Live commentary on Saturday Bugger! But thanks for the heads up. I imagine this is going to happen a lot, so we won't hear much from SL this season - or at least before Xmas. I could, I suppose, pay for the stream and just listen to the comentary while I'm working, but the wi-fi doesn't reach that end of the garden and 2 hours of livestream is going to blow my data allowance completely! Maybe, I can lay enough slabs before 3 to be 'allowed' back in the house for a couple of hours... Ever thought of learning any Rain Dances ?

My luck might be in - the forecast for Saturday two days ago was sunny periods all day, no rain, but now it's light rain showers from 2pm!! Result! Does mean I have to get up early on a Saturday, though...
