What happened to those 5 years ? They went so quickly. Welcome back George. We needed another wide attacking player who knows where to find the onion bag. He certainly fits the bill, Bad boy reputation but he's one of 'ours' Another very handy signing.

In all fairness to Hakan, I think he has done more than ok. The squad he has put together looks very competitive. He has pretty much kept all the players we wanted and has added some very useful signings. Still looks thin at centre back with just 2 strong players and no back up (unless I missed a signing). Probably 1 too many strikers oddly enough, so look for a loan outward. Frustrating that Boris had decided wrongly imo that we are not safe or responsible enough to visit the Gallagher.

We wont know if Hak has done more than ok until a ball is kicked in competitive anger..but on paper we look probably as strong as last year. George is the quality we needed to replace Wish... the key will be the tactics Hak plays and how different they are to John's.

Yeah ,agree with most of that with Olutade probably on loan seeing as he was for much of last year but as for Boris I dont think it's his decision he's just doing what he is told by some jumped up civil servant whose head is stuck up his own arse. The big question remains, will any of them see proper action this year or not?

If highlights are anything to go by, Dover kept at arm's length the whole game. Like the look of our link up play and the desire to break quickly from defence. As to whether Hak's team gets the chance to shine, who knows? If the current student debacle, which even Stevie Wonder could have seen coming, is anything to go by, looks likely that if any games do take place, the ground will be surrounded by security guards and nobody will be allowed out until March.

Interesting to hear Andy Hessenthaler's views on the game: www.doverathletic.com/news/video-manager-reaction-123/In summary: * Lots of work for Dover to do. * Dover played a weaker team, wholesale subs, younger ones & triallists. * Stones played their potential starting X1. * Blamed unfamiliarity with 3G pitch ( of course ). So don't get carried away by an easy win against a sub par Dover ?

Dover will be a NLS side next year with the squad they've got at the moment If you read / believe the nonsense swilling around on the 'net at the moment, once Brexit occurs and the internal customs clearing border is drawn across East Kent by HMG it will be impossible for timely transit to / from Dover ( ? Folkestone ? ) etc. , so Dover will best look to be playing here: www.flashscore.co.uk/football/france/national-2-group-a/

You miss the point. If one death is too much then you do everything to avoid that one death - the easiest route to achieve that is to live with permanent lockdowns. Unfortunately the low tolerance level - o deaths or 100% risk adversity means no crowds. To change the trap we painted ourselves in is that we need to debate this and decide as a society how we live with Covid-19 and how best we go forward. We are living in a fog of ignorance as certains solutions have been taken off the table before they have been tested and validated ( I don't know what the agenda is for this ). Other potential solutions like vaccines are still some way off and will not be here for many more months. It didn't have to be this way but we are in a hole do being manipulated by vested interests.

Just seen this on the national league news website. Wrong Stones ?
“ Wealdstone have a new goalkeeper - Ravan Constable provides competition for places between the posts for Dean Brennan.”

Does anyone have a list of the squad so far for this season. Just wondering how many we have signed up and what positions everyone plays?

Listening to Andy Hessenthaler is not remotely interesting.
He was really dire, sounding very much like 'past his sell by date'
Not a patch on our very own Hak imo
Hakan can be a bit elusive but his 2 interviews this season have been on the money and easy listening

Take your point Rob, but was interested in hearing how downbeat Hess was about Dover's prospects for the forthcoming year !
