Excellent thread here on the travails of Basingstoke Town. How the (fortunately) now former owners can sleep at night is beyond comprehension.

Good find HKS. Depressing read though. Let's hope the local council has the balls to support the covenant and refuse planning permission. If he can't turn the ground into money, he'll piss off.
These things don't always go wrong - DH managed to get their ground back. It can be done, with a decent local council and good support.
