Problem for nws is that this article was about younger people (under 35) hating brexit and the oldies (over 45) loving it.
This forum is infested with quite a few oldies. Just saying.

Whatever is said about nws, he is undoubtedly a forum legend.
Life would be less interesting without his annoying presence, he does throw in a few good ones along the way.

From browsing other forums they do seem a lot less bothered about brexit that Stones.
There again not every club has an nws and not many have the same 'diversity' of players and management as MUFC.
Maybe this will continue in the future but I suspect not.
As sword would say, "we need to control our borders" and that means fewer players in future with European origins.
Sunny days ahead.

Off topic a bit on Thurday I along with my sister stopped off at the City Arms , Canterbury for a pint. The barman was Romanian whose views were very candid about having to work for minimum pay whilst other Eastern Europeans including his own countrymen were fleecing the British tax payers for huge benefits. He advocated a round up of these people and supported deportation to give workers like himself a better standing in the community. He was then bollocked by his boss for airing his views and he told him to "f**k off you Croatian pig". Happy days ,I hope he still has a job.

He used the insulting phrase "preach my opinion". All i did was post an article up and put a quote up. None of it was my opinion. 1.The title of the thread is a bit of a clue. The government once did research into the amount of Europeans coming to the UK for benefits and it was 7%. EU rules state that you can deport someone if they have not found a job after 3 months. Why the UK chooses not to do so is a question for the government that the brexiters all voted back in. |

Think he’s having a Brexit Breakdown He's been like this for years, it's just that he's been quieter recently. I think the epic nws v DaveU spats may have been before your time - compared to then, this is peace and quiet. I can remember La femme summing it up wonderfully once when he reported having a look at the board, seeing every post on the page ending with 'nws', and giving up. Coming on here last night and seeing much the same, I feared the worst. He's been like this for years says the man that has been here 5 minutes. Hilarious. It was Headstone not La Femme. I usually give up with just one just one posting by you. I notice someone said I make life more interesting. That is definitely one difference we have. It is notable you have chosen to keep replying.
