What an emotional experience today. Very moving rendition of the Last Post followed by an immaculately observed minutes silence.

Arrived quite late and it was almost as if the game had been cancelled and nobody was there. Well done everyone.

It puts it all into perspective. Little problems in our modern day lives. Just imagine...just imagine...

I can still remenber back a few years when the ref blew his whistle for the minutes silence and within two seconds we got " do you want onions with that" right across the ground. Todays minute, the parade before and after, and the full partisipation from both sets of fans was a credit to all football.

No doubt I'll find somewhere else to get one today.

Watching scenes at the Cenotaph just now, we show the world how this sort of thing is done and our own tribute on Saturday another small part of it. Shame therefore that Buck Foris couldn't stand still during the two minute silence - head constantly on the move, when everyone else stood calmly to attention. Standards, especially if you are PM, are everything. But, as we know, he doesn't have any.
