Just don't have good vibes on this one, particularly with a cloud hanging over George
So sadly going for a 0-2 with the attendance being about 1800 at best

As I'm not going to be there I'm predicting a nine goal thriller with us losing either 4-5 or 2-7. What about us winning 6-3 or 8-1. Just saying I'm still at work sham so haven't been drinking.. Us scoring 6 in a game, you dreaming...

If the team Turn up then 1-0and some very sore pulpitating holes, otherwise Torquay by 2 and a good game had by all.

Maybe the Stones will raise their game for JS2, in which case we might sneak it or at least get a draw. Its anyones guess, to be honest!

So far so good. Big crowd, big opposition - remember what it was like last year, everyone 2 m tall - and we have raised our game. New signing doing well, George a human brick wall and fine goal from Wishart. Torquay look nervous at times, but move the ball about well. At least 50 'fans' spent the last ten minutes of the half queueing behind the Town End for chips. Not helped by there being only one kiosk open, but would love it if we could score at this time, as some seem to do it every game and it would serve them right.

Great performance. Best all round effort I've seen this season and the best side won. Quite comfortably in fact. We really played as a unit, none more so than the way midfield and the forwards kept Torquay pinned back in their own half for long periods. Johnson excellent moved up into midfield and big George superb throughout. Roll on Monday's draw.

Yea well, it went pretty much as expected Too good for Torquay on the day and a reasonably comfortable win.
Such a good defence unit this season, with George outstanding most matches. Bit of a surprise move seeing Johnson in midfield, but he played well. Torquay kept to a handle of half chances over 90 minutes, with nothing much to worry Cole.
Such a good all round team performance, everybody working hard, had the Gallagher rocking. Happy Days !

2 minutes of BBC highlights on their website. Almost exclusively of our attempts on goal.
Thought Torquay were in scoring form? Thought they had enough chances but their shooting was woeful.

Wonder why Wishart didn't get a penalty? Looking at BBC highlights, either it was a foul on him, or he should have been booked for simulation. Instead Torquay got the foul. Strange.

Excellent all round team performance today. Defence were excellent, new look midfield was excellent with Johnson looking a natural playing there in front of the back four, the loan signing looked good, Wishart consistent as ever and Saidou ( my motm today) just keeps improving every game. Akanbi was superb, on his own most of the game but still managed to keep the ball and bring others in ( best example of this was before we scored).
Only player who wasn't a seven out of ten or better for us through no fault of his own was Jake Cole who had very little to do.
