BBC says they had 64% possession and one more corner. Didn't feel that way. Most fans probably have a negative perception of their side's performance, but today felt like we were always in control.

I always felt they had the majority of the ball but also never really felt like they’d score. I think it was the plan to let them have it and to defend our half

If the team Turn up then 1-0and some very sore pulpitating holes, otherwise Torquay by 2 and a good game had by all. split this prediction into four. part one yes we won by a goal, part four a good game had by all (including all torquey players), part three was missing due to part one, but why the hell do we have to keep suffering part two?

Great performance, it’s been a rare occasion we’ve gone to the Gallagher and walked away with not only a good result against a “better” side but actually for the full 90 minutes looked the far better side. The magic of the FA cup prevails! Defence was excellent today and Khan put a great shift in, finally showing us what he can do when he isn’t alongside a donkey like Kamdjo

C'mon boys, let's face it, we only beat them because we play on Astroturf, the pitch was a skating rink and there were no tackles. That must be true because it says so on their forum

That must be true because it says so on their forum Although to be fair to them the manager refused to blame the pitch in spite of being repeatedly pressed about it in the interview. Thought he was very fair to us while being (rightly so) quite critical of his own team.

We are their bogey team! Just checked back through the results and they've only beaten us once - in the first game.
30/12/89 1-2 A 25/4/90 5-1 H
17/11/90 4-1 H (FAC) 22/12/90 2-2 H 2/4/91 1-1 A
24/9/16 3-2 A 21/1/17 2-1 H
11/11/17 1-0 A 16/12/17 4-0 A (FAT) 10/3/18 1-0 H
9/11/19 1-0 H (FAC)
P11 W8 D2 L1 F25 A10
Last 4 games, they've not even scored!
(usual caveat re my stats/maths - did we play them in the Cup back in the day?)

All the more reason NOT to get Solihull Moors in round two. We never seem to do well against them. However, new team, new management. As has already been said, few will look forward to playing us, especially at home. Last season a distant memory. Well, nearly...

I,m going to be as positive as is possible, going for a nervy draw an who knows what will happen on a cold winter mid week in Torquay. Ok, I'll start with the positive stuff, 1-0 Stones. See, a bit of positive works wonders. Great win lads.....
