Superb game - not sure how we only scored two! A nice return for that pre-season mauling last season. The way they rallied after going one down and just cut Ricay to pieces was just so good. The talent, skill and determination - not mention the sheer pace - out there today was awesome. Any Torquay scouts watching that won't be feeling so confident now.
As for Khan, I've never understood why people aren't impressed by him, he has everything - all he needs is experience.
Anyone know how long McClure is out for? With him in the side today we could have Southamptoned Ricay!

With khan i think he has really enjoyed the addition of Marshall whose a more holding robust physical player who loves a tackle and looks to move the ball forward, this allows khan to get forward more and show the qualities he has.
I had Marshall as my motm today but you could basically put a blindfold on and randomly point at any players name and have a case for them being motm.
Out wide we are doing both things getting down the outside and whipping balls in and cutting inside mixing it up really well, great movement off the ball.
There was a two minute spell in the second half when Iffy Allen looked like one of them wind up toys chasing players down pressuring them and then sprinting to the next player great to see things like this.
I actually expected better from ricay, the amount of experience and know how in that team they were second best after they scored.

I thought Ricay gave us quite a good game, we were just too much for them. They might have some decent players, but all the nonsense over there recently has taken its toll - their current form is DDDDLL - just 4 points out of 6 games. And their away form has been shite all season, they only won their first game, since then it's been LDLDDLL - 3 points from 7 games, 14F 6A.

The statement on their website is hardly revealing, however I wouldn't mind betting whoever it is has very strong links with the "former" owner. Rumoured to be a man called Pat Menngllin. Tamplin is still listed as a director at Companies House, over a month after he 'quit'. Until that changes, I'd take the idea he has 'gone' with a huge pinch of salt.

Thought Amaluzor had a decent game also. After last week it was like day and night. Christ he even got back and tackled. Also like the look of Marshal. If that boy could fulfil his potential he could be a class act. Great buzz in the Town End also. Onwards and upwards. COYS

Also Big George’s tackle after about only 40 seconds, I think, probably even then, set out our stall. Just had the feeling after that we were going to win. What a leader

I voted for Khan. He & Marshall make an excellent centre midfield pairing. Allen always looks good when playing alongside the main striker. I would keep the same starting line-up for Tuesday.

That was a very good team performance. Possibly the best this season. Hoyte really impresses me week after week, doesn’t get many mentions but is so consistent. Very solid and is clever too. Allen was good too (bar his 1 yard miss) nobody played badly. We seem to be really getting it together. The only issue was the finishing. If we had a true regular goal scorer then we could Have had 6 today. Billericay were all over the place defensively and were very open. 1 thing that seemed odd was that Embery was on subs bench and Edwards wasn’t and only appeared there due to McClures injury. However when Akanbi was subbed it was Edwards that came on. No big deal but just thought it was odd. A good win, it sounds like a really good performance. They are no mugs, but it sounds like you need a goal scorer, you know what it's like, you dominate a game, the opposition go up the other end, ball in the net, game over.

Not sure why you were laughing at the overt racism from those morons? A few games back they were calling all our black players "boy" in a tone that left no one in any doubt what they meant. The truly sad thing is the security down the front of the T.E. just stands there and does nothing - unless of course it's a 5yo who's dared to stand in the yellow hatching then he's on them like a shot!

If you were to witness anyone inside that ground acting in such a manner then why dont you make a recording of it if you can an pass it on to anyone in the club damn sure Bill would be all over it like a rash this sort of behaviour has no place in football at any level an needs to be stamped out as soon as possible.
