£bbsfleet planning application. Suspect the theme park will also never happen and will become blocks of flats for Londoners. View AttachmentView AttachmentSo, is this what it was all about - the reason for all that money being 'invested' over the years? Just the classic 'buy a football club and redevelop the land for housing'? And a hotel, of course - there's always a hotel...

Was there ever a luckier non league club? First the myfootballclub money. Then £16 million on a 500 capacity main stand from a Middle Eastern property developer. Now a free new stadium surrounded by thousands of ugly new flats full of Londoners. We can’t even find any local businesses willing to put in a couple of hundred thousand.
Also reading about a pitch invader and objects being thrown, something they were quick to accuse us of not so long ago. Never forget Dorking where they failed to win promotion due to one of their own fans throwing a flare on the pitch, causing extra time in which they conceded.

Bath vs Dulwich abandoned after 5 minutes due to a serious injury to Bath striker Alex Fletcher. He collided with an advertising hoarding and an ambulance was called. Sounds very, very serious unfortunately. Fingers crossed he's OK and can make a speedy recovery. A serious head injury that required immediate neurosurgery, is in critical but stable condition Statement from Alex Fletcher. It might mask more serious issues, but good to hear. www.bathcityfc.com/update-on-alex-fletcher-21-11/

To put that in context. Our 4200 capacity probably cost us 4 to 5 million over the years.

In fairness, it will also be a multi use entertainment arena, with ĺive concerts etc from stars who can fill a big theatre. Accordingly, it will require a lot of facilities both inside and surrounding it. I understand there will be a huge underground car park as well. Which is a facility your builders didn't take into account. In the scheme of the entire development, it seems a fair cost. Certainly the entire area is badly in need of regeneration.

These youths must have spent the lockdowns watching Green Street and the Firm thinking they were instruction videos.
