Can't really get excited about the Vase and thank god we're not at a level where we're involved in it. If we'd reached the Trophy final I would have gone, but sitting in a 3 quarters empty Wembley watching teams I don't follow has about as much appeal as having my fingernails pulled out. It's a horrible stadium with shit food, worse beer and no atmosphere, and nothing in the surrounding area to make the experience more pleasurable.
Having said all that, I am going there in July for an Eagles concert.

At least when they sing Desperado you will be able to fully relate to it.

70,000 middle aged blokes with 70s hair cuts... You're only jealous. A band with the biggest selling album of all time cannot be that bad. I would love to be there myself but cannot afford the inflated prices. Before anyone contradicts me the Eagles greatest hits has stormed passed Michael Jacksons ' Thriller' and is stil going strong.

Ended Cray Valley 1 - 0 Canterbury - all to play for in the 2nd Leg. First Half a cagey affair, marked by driving hale, wind & rain. Second Half Cray Valley came out fired up and scored on 54 minutes, Ryan Flack with a long diagonal run from the RHS and a precise shot into the bottom corner. Game became stretched & Canterbury unlucky not to equalise, kept out by a couple of fine blocks from ex Stones keeper Andy Walker, in commanding voice & form despite being nobbled early on. Not a game of great quality, but a fine performance from ex Stone Phil Starkey anchoring the defence for Canterbury, lots of deft touches and interceptions. Lisbie & Tomlin obvious quality for Cray upfront, but the service not there for them for the whole game. Canterbury will fancy overturning the one goal deficit next Saturday if they pick up where they finished here. Pleased to tick off Badgers Sports as a ground, even more pleased it stopped raining at half time. Shows you ignorance in that post Dave, ive been to non league finals day the past couple of years and it is not a 3 quarter empty stadium. You get two finals for £25, that's only £5 more than your ticket at Wrexham. You get good banter with the four sets of fans there and you also bump into fans of many other non league teams around the concourse between the two games. I can only assume you are confusing non league finals day with the national league playoff final which is £40 a ticket and 3 quarters empty (or more if boreham wood get there again).

Why on earth would I want to pay £25 to watch two finals featuring teams I have no interest in, in a stadium I dislike. I'm only seeing The Eagles there because it may be the last chance I get to see them anywhere. As for the 3 quarters empty remark, it was an exaggeration, but only slightly, they only open the bottom tier for non league finals day.
