Decent interview with Paxo in the Kent Messenger. Still keen to stay at Stones if possible and fight for his place ... people say stuff about him on here because of how popular he is with the rest of the fanbase who even if he doesn't play still still overrate him Whilst I agree with you, such people will call you Paxthestone

Decent interview with Paxo in the Kent Messenger. Still keen to stay at Stones if possible and fight for his place. The only player on the staff to see us rise from Ryman Premier status. Loves the club and supporters. Always gives 100%. Nice to be able to recognise a name and put a face to it on the team sheet. Definitely one of the most popular players with supporters. Although you would never believe it given the noise of the moaners who slag him off on this forum. It’s all about opinions and in my opinion he’s shit

Isnt that what my post just said? You didn’t say anything about the NL True, but as we are (just about) currently in the NL I reasonably made the assumption everyone would know I was describing that he isn't consistent enough for NL............but you do raise the question..................................would he set the NLS alight? MMMmmmmmm.
Now that's a more difficult one, but, as I said, the point is that JS and HH don't seem to think he would be any better in NLS or he wouldn't be on the transfer list.

Pax has been a loyal player and despite him never fulfilling his potential here, and causing frustration amongst some of us, I wish him the best for next season. I can't see him leaving for JS at Margate until the summer as they are mid table and wouldn't want his wages for the last 6 weeks. If he puts in the effort in training he could well get a farewell appearance after relegation is confirmed.

Perhaps one needs to go all South American and call himself something silly?

Paxman has become a luxury player that sadly we cannot afford this year, we have needed 11 players on the pitch who will fight an battle for 90 mins each an every game not just shine for 10 mins then disappear, maybe that is what JS has told him, personally I dont think he will be able to fight his way back into the side on a regular basis as it would mean changing how he plays a game an I dont think he,s gifted enough to do that, so for the best he needs to seek his fame elsewhere.

Oh the irony, coming from you... You know how to hurt. Although, one might point out, that your name is not exactly kosher...

You know how to hurt. Although, one might point out, that your name is not exactly kosher... Yes sorry for moving down the road. Meanwhile I heard in a car park that Paxman is standing for Prime Minister on a manifesto of getting Maidstone United into FIFA 2020.
