I'm on some training that day. What could be better than a trip to Solihull to watch a televised match after our last two offerings.
Is anyone actually going to this game and should other members of the board be thinking about an award if they do?

Don't do long distance away games, but right now, can't think of a single reason to go there and far too many reasons to spend my money on something else. Currently, root canal treatment more preferable to watching Maidstone.

It was a choice between going to the Olympic stadium and watching Newcastle v West Ham or going to Solihull so guess what im going to Solihull for my 3rd and final visit as we won’t be playing them again next season thank Christ, still hoping to see at least a goal being scored there as the last 2 visits yielded no goals and no points but in all honesty I am expecting a proper spanking, hope Lewingtons back can hold up picking the ball out of the net so many times

Seem to remember Boreham Wood bringing single figure fans to the G once. Wonder what the record is for lowest number of away fans in a genuine match at this level. Game on TV, Stones crap, top v bottom. Only the most bloody minded masochist will bother to travel for this one, methinks.

Solihull are a lovely old fashioned club having a purple patch and have a naïve and nice atmosphere in an awful mishmash of a ground so they are pleasant to visit - even if you need a LandRover to survive their Car Park - but like you, I think is going to be a drubbing. 5-0 at least, maybe 7-0. Cant be any more embarrassing than last nights horror movie at JWW. Our home games need health warnings for Home fans posted on the gates.

Far more fun to be had watching the Stones away from the Gallagher this season so I'll be there.
Can spend the time on the way up speculating on which type of Maidstone team will actually turn up. Doubt it will be as poor as the one from yesterday.

Doubt it will be as poor as the one from yesterday. I thought Wembley would spur our passionless mercenaries into action last night but it didn't, so I have no hope that being on TV will inspire them either. As our record seems to be one crap game, one fighting game, then crap again you mat be right that we may be better at the Moors but I am still haunted by my last trip there under Jay and Southall where we were equally clueless and embarrassing as many of our performances this year have been. Good luck to the Stones faithful who make the trip, though. I hope you get rewarded with seeing something worth seeing.

Really wanted to go to this one because we have family close by. However, I suspect the rot has set in and it could be a long and fairly miserable journey home. Even though the team can't be as poor as yesterday.

The way we are playing and the way the team are conducting themselves in their embarrassing performances even a walk to Ashes to watch it on tv is going to be a tall order.
I get the notion of always supporting the club, and I’ll be here next season.
But putting my hand on heart, if the players who receive a wedge for turning up can’t be bothered why should I spend my money?

Totally bang on the button with this post, just think of all the piss poor performances we as fans have had to endure this season week after week being dished up a standard of football that could be beaten on any local park on a Sunday morning, yet how many times has anyone from the club stepped forward an said SORRY. Would it be beyond the owners powers to turn around an say " for putting up with this rubbish it will be free entry for last home game of the season or something similar.

After last nights performance, would anybody want to watch that shower of shit, even if it was free. I sat in the SL at 2-0 and thought it’s just a pub now with a game on outside. Totally depressed

Totally depressed I was tempted to go home early last night for the first time in years, the only reason I stayed till the end was because I realised I didn,t have a front door key so had to wait for the good lady wife anyway so it was a pointless exercise.

An apology from JS would not go amiss after last night. And some honesty. Nothing to lose. If the players don't like it and want to leave, that's good isn't it?
