Sold ? Seriously ? Most National League signings are freebies and below this league it is 99%. The fact is we would not be able to give away most of our playing staff. Less than a handful would interest half decent clubs and the others are just on too expensive contracts to move in to the lower leagues. So we are well and truly lumbered. Have we got many that are still contracted beyond the end of the season?

Who have we defiantly got in contract for next season? And does anyone that is contracted have a get out clause if religated?
The ones I know of are
Coker WDH Amaluzor
Pretty sure everyone else is in till the end of the season so we can just let them drift away like an old dog after the owner does the kind thing at the vets! If Turgott turns it on before the end of the season he is unlikely to be bought for a fee if a club can take him for free in the summer.
I believe like any busniness sometimes you just need to get rid of stock for nothing to allow room for new.

Just a thought, but if Billericay go up it wouldn't be beyond imagination for some of Harry's signings to join him; eg: Cassidy, Walton, Wishart, Robinson, Romain, Powell. Could be they liked his setup ideas and maybe it's worked out in Essex.
The other way, if Margate had been promoted this year wouldn't George, Pax, Muldoon and Richards have fancied a trip to the seaside with Jay? They might anyway. I bet Flish, Tom and Rogers are thriving. There's nothing like winning games to build a fantastic atmosphere (sorry it's so obvious). And it's a lovely town.
Turgott remains a bit of an enigma. If they keep him as captain and make him the club emblem then I can see him staying. He's young, plenty of time and can score 30/40 goals at NLS level. It hasn't done a few others any harm. I'm thinking of Matthew Stenson who scored every week for Leamington, is young, and joined Solihull just before they played us at The Gallagher. It's good to snatch a player who's on goal-scoring form.
Lewington should stay to develop his coaching in an environment he would suit. WdH might be off somewhere in the NL.
There needs to be a feel good factor created at our club. Otherwise it doesn't matter how good your contacts are you're only going to pick up players who can't find anywhere else. There are some good young coaches around the NL and they'll be eyeing up the cream.
Another thought; deluded though I am, we are not actually down yet. If we don't go down, what about recruitment then? Who would/could we keep? Maybe it would suit this current management team to go down to avoid this conundrum.

When I said sold I meant sold/free transferred/fired/retired/Foxtrot Oscar/shipped to Siberia - anything but being at JWW. I said sold because OBVIOUSLY we try to get whatever we can for them, however dire they are - even if its in exchange for a new roof for the clubshop.
However, if our squad is so cr*p we couldn't give them away, and they are so poor no Manager on earth - let alone JS and HH - can make them be good, surely we have to start questioning their recruitment and...........wait for it...........the judgement of the Management teams who recruited them.......which includes JS and HH?
Just saying. Out of respect for his experience, in JS I still trust for NLS next season but I need some more honesty and les BS from HH to be convinced about him.

Nitpick ?
Clearly you can never have been on the receiving end of nws, then you would know what nitpicking is all about !
There is so much gloom, despondency, depression and unhappiness on this forum that I just can't get into adding some more
So I would rather focus on a bit of nitpicking and you just happened to be next in line, oldboy
The point is you did use words very loosely on this occasion, indeed you have accepted that your words were 'throwaway'.
Your earlier post on the subject gave an unrealistic, false and misleading impression about selling players.
Firstly, because it seems that you didn't actually mean what you said
Secondly, because you have since recognised that the point you were making is impossible and unworkable.
Nitpicking or not, words are all we have on this forum and I was not to know that you did not want them to be taken literally
But I don't blame the wishful thinking behind it.
We had all been left hoping that JS and HH could turn water into wine
Realistically, everybody recognises that simply isn't going to happen.

Some of us thought the Clown was gonna turn water into wine. Don’t know what’s happening. One week they burst their nuts. The next there just like a load of nuts. We might not even get another point.

Some of us thought the Clown was gonna turn water into wine. Don’t know what’s happening. One week they burst their nuts. The next there just like a load of nuts. We might not even get another point. I don't expect HH and JS to turn water into wine, only one person ever did that. However, I do expect them to get the players they have (however bad, and some of whom they brought in) to actually play some football, especially when they are full time pros. I don't think that's unreasonable. I didn't expect HH and JS to keep us up - the Clown had done too good a demolition job on the whole club for that - but I did have hope. I also didn't expect them to win us the FAT, but I hoped.
However, now we not only have no hope but worse still are not even playing any level shape manner or form of what could be called football. That's worrying. My point is that either the players are all cr*p and need to be got rid of (by what ever means it is feasible for us to do so, Nicholas!) or the Managers have to up their game with these players (however bad, and some of whom they brought in) for us to keep faith in them to buy NLS season tickets, and have any hope for next year.

My point is. Some weeks the nerves, the joy, the laughs, the bantz. Next game total shit. Can’t get my head around it. Will still get a season ticket though regardless what league
