From a few weeks back now, a report from the NLP's much respected ' groundhopper ' about a Vase match @ Honey Lane.

Makes much of the appalling language from the Bears bench.

There is a difference between being a fan of a certain team and accumulating grounds along the way or when your team hasn't got a game to being a groundhopper who usually has no allegiance to any one club and just travels the country purely to put a tick in the box. I have accumulated 498 different grounds but these have mostly been achieved supporting Maidstone,Whitley Bay or the Toon. The others are done midweek when Maidstone aren't playing or if I just happen to be on holiday somewhere. You will find it much more fun doing it this way than just being a plain old groundhopper.

i dont go aways as you know so itll be the thing i do when theres a longer distance away like the south west coast next season ill fit in a groundhop
