According to Kentlive.news Tunbridge Wells fc are soon to lose their Culverden stadium as the council is selling the ground for housing but not until an alternative venue is found for the club(I've heard that somewhere before). The Culverden stadium is one of my favourite venues and I will be heartbroken to see it go.

Has a special place in lots of Stones fans memories. It was the venue of our first Kent League game after years of standing in muddy fields watching County League. It will be a loss to Kent football

Very sad news. A nice little stadium too - very non-league in the nicest possible way. Would have thought that bit of TW was pretty safe from house building too.
I wonder what sort of souless place miles from the town the council will pick?

Depends how near, I suppose. If it's close to Hawkenbury, then it will be about as far out of town as they are now. Might even be easier to get to that side of town. My guess would be Hawkenberry rec, or close by - quite a bit of flat space around there, and a nice 3G with lights for training on!
