TBF, the last only time a manager took us down but was retained, it all went rather well minor edit for you A rather superfluous edit.

Says nws, being somewhat of an expert on all things superfluous.

I see that the owners are meeting on Tuesday to decide what to do next.
Will they call time on Tristan and Simon and try to get an experienced National League manager ?
No guarantees whatever they decide, but I get the feeling that most supporters (including this one) would like to see T & S given the job till the end of the season and review again then.

I’d personally give it to to Tristan and Simon. 2 wins in 3 isn’t awful and the squad has looked more willing to play with a smile and dig in.
Not sure if bringing in another new face, with new ideas is what we need at this stage.

Not sure if bringing in another new face, with new ideas is what we need at this stage. 2 wins from 3 is mid-table form - 6 points from 3 games - on that form, we end up with 61! Even 2 wins from 4 is survival - 52 points. Although I certainly don't want us losing the next game! Certainly give them a few more games - if they can keep this up, then hang on to them!

I,m happy for them to stay in charge but feel that we still need Walton playing in certain games.

Please owners of MUFC on Tuesday give TL and SW the chance to keep us up. Unless you have managed to find some miracle manager on the cheap let’s not upset the applecart again - stability and bonding of team and management are key to survival. We may not have the strongest team in NL man for man but as Hartlepool proved this team can get results working together.

And yes Simon Walton must play himself when needed.

Ade Pinnock is out of the running if of course he ever was in the running as he he is now managing a team in the Singapore top flight.
