I can feel the gloom lifting already. I have revised my prediction on Saturday from a 4-0 defeat to a 1-0 win.COYS!

Genuinely sorry it didn't work out for Harry. Maybe just a step too far for him at this stage of his career, and one that he'll no doubt learn a great deal from. I admit that I wanted him out for the last 2 or 3 weeks, not through any feelings of animosity, but because I couldn't see how he was going to turn things around. It's a shame that some of our support (the other Dave being a prime example) resorted to personal insults, when he was simply trying to do a job he just wasn't ready for. Good luck for the future Harry, and may your experience here be something that will make you stronger.

It's a real shame it didn't work out. I was mightily impressed with his talking and transfers but it just didn't equate to anything on the pitch. To not win a single league game at home is criminal really.
He came in and was bold, it takes real guts to rip a squad to pieces and rebuild and I suspect he thought that was the right thing to do when analysing the squad he inherited. The problem was he didn't really get to grips with the league and how relentless it is, same issue Jay found after trying for a little over two years.
We now have the squad, infrastructure and fan base to push on. It'll take a miracle to survive this year but Dover were in deep trouble a few months ago and look how they have turned it around. Two good months and we could see a possibility of survival. Personally i'd opt for experience, just like Dover and Ebbsfleet have done. Kinnear seems the obvious choice, when he's allowed to get players he wants he gets the best out of them. He would be inheriting a very talented squad.

Think you’re right in what you say, maybe it was all too soon for HW and it happened too quickly. He did rip apart the squad and correctly so in my opinion, it needed to be done as the majority of the players he inherited weren’t good enough. He mostly got shot if the right ones although one or two (Loza a prime example) he perhaps would have done better to have held on to. It all happened a bit too quickly and that could be part of the reason why he couldn’t gel them as a team, but the NL is a very unforgiving league and it has swallowed him up and spat him out unfortunately

Don't know about it needing real guts to pull our squad apart - foolish in my view He needed around 5 players at the most to turn things around I've lost count but it must be around 10-12 new signings. We should never have lost Worgan - surely he could have been offered the same deal as Dover. Seth - Another we should have kept Finney - Another we should have kept Lewis - Another we should have kept Loza - Another Coker - Another But at least these 2 could be reclaimed So much damage has been done by HW ! Shame. At least he has recruited some decent players but they have hugely underperformed with his mediocre hoofball tactics. Over to you now Simon and Tristan and good luck!
