Story in the NLP, looks like the bubble may have finally burst. Players and staff not being paid, Tamplin not seen at the club for three weeks, and a potential buyer insisting the wage budget be slashed before agreeing a deal. However bad we are at the moment I'd much rather be us than them.

Time for the new owner of Billericay to tempt Harry Wheeler back to the shit hole of England.

Ricay circling the wagons and digging in - some stubborn posts on twitter such as:
'The Blue Beat Room @thebluebeatroom 16m 16 minutes ago More Replying to @nonleaguepaper @nonleaguecrowd and 12 others I don't quite understand the headline? Surely Billericay Town are now moving forward to sustainability rather than ruin? Reducing the wage bill is a sensible decision and didn't seem to affect their result yesterday? '

If Bill&Ricay can no longer afford their over inflated wages then what makes you think we can?

If Bill&Ricay can no longer afford their over inflated wages then what makes you think we can? Players were only signing for them due to the ridiculous money they were being offered. Now the money isn't on offer and it's been said the players haven't been paid in weeks....they will now just want to earn a decent wage and actually be paid. Most players aren't stupid and realise no one else will pay them the ridiculous money they were on at Billericay. Lafayette sure as hell wouldn't of been on silly money at Sutton or we couldn't of even afforded loaning him in last year. Likewise I doubt we are paying anything close to what Robinson was on at Billericay.

I struggle to believe we paid over 24k for a player that is only on contract till the end of the season.
