There, the internet as a force for learning I had tickets to see Edwin Starr on April 4 2003 he died on April 2 2003 . The concert would have been in Maidstone at what is now the gallery nightclub.Such a shame.

No excuse for skulking around at home with a download / DVD / whatever.... Go out, enjoy live music, of whatever type !

I agree with the exception of Take That as I would rather skull around at home.

Have we chased them away from this forum ? A bunch/herd/whatever of them on our train back from Strood last night. Strange lot. None of them dressed for the weather, none wore colours, couldn't decide where to sit - roamed up and down the train like lost souls, then half of them sat on the edge of their seats all the time. Couldn't understand a word they said!

You're a brave man tackling the Medway Valley Line ( Northern Section ) late of an evening, although you were mob handed. Indeed - I had my daughter to protect me! Although, it did occur to me, as I walked home from her flat (twice as far as from Barracks!), that, had there been any trouble, it would probably have been her protecting me... There was a young lad on the train who lived in Bromley or Swanley or somewhere like that, who had come to the game on the train, so he got the last train from Strood, and then had to get the last train from ME - a journey that had 'what could possibly go wrong' written all over it! Hope he got home OK. And, needless to say, he wasn't dressed for the weather either. Young people, eh...
