I'm used to bar staff doing weird things to drinks – salt round the glass, lime in the bottle, etc – but today I had a pint of Edelweiss beer, and it came with a slice of lemon and a small bowl of uncooked rice!
Is this normal??

Nearly nine years ago I was in Belgium, right near the Dutch border and asked for a beer and a coffee, and when the coffee arrived, it came with a mini dessert, biscuits, fruit and wafers!
