Oyston quits, missed 2nd instalment of what he owes Belokon. Club still (I think) owned by Oyston family. www.skysports.com/football/news/11719/11233808/karl-oyston-leaves-role-as-blackpool-chairmanCurrently 19th in L1 with lousy form (5 points from last 6 games), and average gates down to just over 4,000 - over a thousand less than Gills! Could be playing them in a year or two - or will it be AFC Blackpool? With Fleetwood and Flyde, not a good time to be a Blackpool fan.

Well, judging from the response to this thread, no bugger is interested in this! But, if anyone out there is, here's the latest weirdness - it turns out that the PL regarded Oyston Snr as not a fit and proper person, and told him to sell his shares. But because Blackpool were only in the PL for one season, and the PL never bothered to check if Oyston had done as told, he didn't! The EFL (needless to say) have different rules regarding who is fit to run a football club, so Oyston CAN be a director/shareholder in the League! Farcical. www.theguardian.com/football/2018/mar/13/premier-league-blackpool-owen-oyston-fit-and-proper-person
