Much to the bemoaning of their fans, Gillingham let striker Cody McDonald go early this week and have now sold Bradley Dack, their erstwhile prodigal son. Dack was named their young player of the season three seasons in a row and the League One player of the year for the 2015 / 2016 season, and Bristol City offered them 2 million for him at the end of the 16 season. He's now left 'on the cheap' for £750,000. Gills fans saying he was never that good and their glad to see the back of him.
