What is it with all the animosity on this forum. We're all meant to be supporters and it's Christmas after all.
And on that front, a merry Christmas to all fellow fans including the protagonists amongst us. Let's hope santa brings us a few points over the festive period. COYS

No one wants that ,that would be terrible ...but would a couple or three really good signings break the bank ..and send us back to homelessness again,no it wouldn't , It would give Jay and the team a massive boost,I'm sure it could be balanced slightly with a departure or two . What are the odds for that ..We've not had back to back wins all season I'd say more than 100/1. Dovers fire power up top and midfield and our very poor defence should result in a one way goalfest,I'd be happy if we can manage a single goal from both games . It will be good to see a good local conference side,even though Bromley stuffed us easy in both games they were not convincing. Dover should be the teams benchmark after all they are part time have much smaller gates than us and they have managed to build a lovely new stand that is all seated ,with out resorting to signing Ryman league players. Can't wait for both games ,I'll go 4-0,and 1-4 at the gallystad So you think our owners should be like big Jim and pump millions of their own cash into building a team rather than funding it sustainably through the club's income streams. If you want to compare us with someone, compare us with another club that lives within its means, not some sugar daddy's hobby club. The word sustainable comes to mind. Google it PMH |

Look we're in a trick ssituation. I'm not sure how many supporters are really newbies (I.e. supported only since return to Maidstone) or rekindled supporters but about 1700 supporters have known nothing but success. Therefore they may not have a strong affinity with the stones. Relegation may have a serious impact on this potentially 'fickle' support. This may impact our profitability and hence sustainability. Therefore spending a bit of our cash (do not confuse with capital) on a couple of relatively expensive 6 month contracts (£75k) may be critical to avoid a significant revenue drop in NLS next season. This is not anti Maidstone just a bit if common sense!

Rich it wouldn't cost that much a contract from Jan to may .
I'm sure someone would be released for balance .
Oliver did say on Sunday cash was available for players .
I'm sure we will have two or three experienced quality players soon.
