Were the ladies a player short in this game. If so, not the first time, but they still seem to be running away with the league.

Yup started with 10 and finished with 8! Unfortunately they're in the midst of an injury crisis. The ladies are technically unbeaten, however they had to forfeit a game due to this.
I'm not too clued up on the history but the ladies we're playing a few leagues higher but had to fold for various reasons a couple of seasons back. They reformed for this season (and kept the squad together) and were placed in a league they really shouldn't be in.
Think of it as a national league level team suddenly playing in the Ryman 1 for an idea on gulf in teams....
Having said that despite the result - Tonbridge are a good little team (newly formed for this season) and played some of the best football I've seen in a ladies game at times. If they keep at it they'll be following us up the leagues.
