Could have been worse ask Dartford. I think it might get chosen as a live game or more likely on the red button. This is true ...getting that far then having Sutton wipe the floor with you ...at least if will be a league team that does it to us .

A replay is likely to be 3 days after Southport away
Would have preferred not to get a good team until a little later but as Frenchstone says we have to take the draw as it comes, I am already looking forward to the game, tough though it may be.
And Rochdale were the last league team we beat before Stevenage (2.1 at Spotland 7/4/1992)

I think the newbies win this one hands down* *please please please don't take this as a green light to start that particular argument, just saying

Was that a wind up can we do it again please I was hoping that they had left a ball in the bag and it would have to be done again. A tough game, but as they are doing so well in the league they might be looking at promotion as the priority and field a weaker side. Let's face it, if they want to concentrate on the league and we want to concentrate on the cup it's a win/win I can't see any team fielding a weak side in the FA cup !

Yes, but they may have half an eye on the Championship so may not be focusing on us IF they take us seriously we will need half a ton of luck, BUT if they don't...................

Hilly might use it as an opportunity to give players who've been sidelined a game Logan, McGahey, McDermott, McNulty, Tanser in particular. Can't play them all in t' Checkatrade Above is the thoughts of one of there fans from there forum, hopefully they will underestimate us like silly Stevenage......... o.O their reading our forum right now.................. if your Dale and read this please understand we are shit, shitter than shit, and would loss to your under 12's

Course they will take it 100% seriously...They will want a big 3rd round draw to help pay for a possible promotion . Otherwise WTF Is a club like Rochdale with less than 3k fans doing any where near the championship

This is the FA CUP ! We have to play whatever the draw dictate ! ... It is our chance to shine and be "giant killers" against Rochdale !! ... It will be a sell out and let's get ready to make some noise and cheer our team ... We could get a replay which will mean extra money. Don't all be disheartened and let's get the job done ! ... Man.Utd awaits us in the next round at Old Trafford !!!. COYS. not in the second round they don't.

Otherwise WTF Is a club with less than 3k fans doing any where near the championship I would have thought so too, but given they already have a pretty good team they MAY (and I stress that) be less than focused on the vague possibility of a one off big game versus the real possibility of big matches virtually every week. We could argue this ad infinitum, but neither of us have the answer and we will see for real on the 5th (or 6th heaven forbid)

Could be worse, home tie against Have you seen our home form two wins against shat teams from Essex one two leagues lower and one that will fight a relegation battle with us all season . I'd have more hope if this was away . Cup tie isn't the same as the league though is it, it's a one off! I think it's great that we get pit ourselves against better teams and see how we get on and it's great for the town to create a bit more buzz around the club. We shouldn't win, they start as huge favourites, but as it's the cup you never know. We've got nothing to lose have we, maybe we could just enjoy the day and see how we get on?!

Presume you're having a large wager on it Pmh as you're so certain of the result?
