I think I must be getting the hang of this now It's easy - whenever you post something daft and get caught out, you just post "whoosh".

I'd take one of the bottom clubs in league 2 at home hopefully get them down to 9 men and this time get a shot on goal ...

No. The club would lose money which would defeat the object of getting this far . There would be no trouble but they would have to have a large police presence ..and pay for it .

Things might have changed but the clkub only pay for police inside the ground. If there are a load outside it comes out of the police budget

Westfields home or Gills or Charlton away... we'll probably get a crap draw like Dagenham away.

Did someone mention Blackpool away? Would be less than 1,000 Pool fans though the figures are err, adjusted to meet ST sales. I'd take Stones to win comfortable, we are crap.

I bet we all get excited and then draw bl**y Dartford away - I can see it coming, folks. That would be a nasty draw as Alex Brown and co. would be well up for causing an upset.
Merstham at home would do, I'm definitely in the "any which way way we can get to round three" camp so that we can make a pot of money for the stand

For the sake of funding for the stand we need to progress as far as possible not get a glamour tie where we are knocked out in the 1st round on a whimper. Screw drawing Millwall, Bolton, Gills away.

Absolutely. If we get well and truly shafted by a Premiership club at their ground in round 3, but come out of it with a huge wedge of money, that will do

So no thanks

From a purely economic view, I'd suggest we'd want something like: Round 1 - Westfields (H) Round 2 - Blackpool (A) (hope to bring them back to the Gallagher for a replay) Round 3 - Gills (A) Round 4 - Man United (A)
