The link only states a capacity of 3000. If they were in the NL last season should they not already increased that capacity? Wikipedia thinks it's already been done: "Following the club's promotion to the National division of the National League in 2015, plans were submitted to ensure the ground passed the ground grading requirements of a 4,000 capacity with 500 seats; the expansion would involve creating new terraces on three sides of the ground and covering all four sides. The extension was completed before the 30 March 2016 deadline." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nethermoor_Park

Well iin that case t must be a bloody big stand behind the camera position - as the est of the ground looks fairly limited.

Nope not really Even their official website still lists the ground as only having a 3000 capacity guiseleyafc.co.uk/matchday/home-games/#groundThis is what i mean, i struggle to see how that ground holds 4000 and is in anyway better than ours...meanwhile we're having to spend a fortune upgrading our ground

We are obviously doing the latter, thanks to Oliver and Terry's (and the sponsors') generosity. For those of us who were there in the old Conf days and witnessed the rise and fall, it still seems incredible that this is the reality. It's like waking from a dream and finding it's real. I'm still pinching myself!

Excluding the missing years, of course...

Eastleigh chairman wipes out nearly £5m debt! nonleague.pitchero.com/news/grand-gesture-leaves-eastleigh-debt-free-50370/I don't begin to understand how that works. But as an indication of just how much this guy has spent on turning Eastleigh into a NL club, even after wiping out £5m debt, he goes on to say this: "It is clear it is not self-sustainable without my finances just yet. However, we have increased season tickets to almost 1,200 from less than 50 and have gates of over 2,000, up from around 500. This coupled with commercial revenues in excess of £1 million means that it is starting to make Eastleigh a much more viable model." He says, as a result of this, there's enough money in the club to keep them running for the next two years. But what happens if they are not self-sustaining by then?

They have had several donations (directors writing off debts) in the past and yet they have still run up a massive debt again. They must have done their homework and think that reaching the promised land of League football will increase their turnover. The way of football at the moment, seems to be to rely on massive investment rather than doing it organically. We did to a certain extent.
