Fortunately the US system means he will have to get his lunacy past 2 legislative bodies before it becomes law. Barack Obama discovered how difficult it was to get even the most reasonable changes through if they didn't have full support, hence the ridiculous lack of control over gun ownership. Let's hope even the Republican controlled Congress exercises a modicum of control if he does become president. |
