No. Watt came off for Coyle and Porter was replaced by Greenhalgh Sorry - read the MUFC report, then deleted my question. But, as always, you were too quick for me!

I thought it was a good point today. I certainly would have taken it at the start of the game. Yet again we gave a stupid goal away but what superb goal from Watty. The 2nd half looked like we were happy to sit back and not leave us exposed to another late goal. I am not gonna complain too much.
As for the title, I just cannot see Hendon winning enough games to press us. They have some hard games coming up where they will drop points. Must say a quick word about our fantastic support again today. Top drawer singing !

I thought JP was looking a little tired today with some loose passing and possession given away. Although the pitch may not have contributed. I thought JP had quite a good game, it was Rogers who had the horrorshow, a surprise after all his excellent performances until now. It could have been different if Jay May hadn't spurned his open goal in the first half, but I note no-one has a go at him on here. Is it cos he's black?

This team are the clear danger on present form.

Once again, I did not see a top-of-the-table team today (sorry if Ravy Davy cannot fathom out what that might entail). I saw a huff and puff, hump and pump performance against a decent and compact Leatherhead side who definitely knew how to press us. We had no answers on how to break them down and I am afraid the possession counted for nothing because we made pretty much no chances. I am reading that we were great defensively. Perhaps those people were in the toilet when Leatherhead scored because if that was good defending... Then we come to these predictions of beating Margate. All I can say is that next week would be a good time to start beating the sides at the top because we have had precious little success in that so far. From what I have seen in the last two games I would not be getting out the bunting too early because we are stumbling towards the title at present based on the fact that Margate don't seem to be able to capitalise. It does seem that Hendon are and, if Hendon can keep going, the two Kent 'giants' might have their noses put out of joint, if they are not careful. Agree with all of that. Frankly this was the normal turgid long ball performance, the only difference between this and 'ricay was that at 'ricay we produced moments of absolute individual brilliance to win the game. Deeply concerning that key players in the team are now making individual mistakes to cost us goals. Good job this is a very weak in standard league this year.

It remains something of a mystery that whilst Leatherhead didn't have a single player in their team that Jay would be keen to sign, they still managed to pretty well match our players all over the pitch. No one to blame really, even Rogers who sadly gifted the goal, had a decent match otherwise The long ball game to May is often criticised, yet it seems a must given the inability of some of our players to string together a few passes. Strange, that individually our team looks so good, yet collectively they can disappoint. Well, it's onwards and upwards again. All to play for but must improve if we are to turn over Margate and Hendon during the next couple of weeks. Hope that Billy Bricknell gets his chance.

OMG ! What's this all about ? Off to google again for translation. Not easy for a simple Stones supporter Why does this forum attract so many statisticians, interpreters, intellectuals and academics ?

C'est une blague ou quoi?! ... Et de qu'elle blague fais-tu reference ?!? From whence did you hear that it was a good game? The majority of posters were of the opinion that the game was very dire, totalling lacking in any inspiration, although the work rate was commendable, and the Leatherhead boys were not in the mood to be steam-rollered by us.

It was a bit frustrating yesterday. After Monday night I was really looking forward to seeng some more stand out performances but that little bit of creativity in final third was lacking. Maybe the new signing or Bricknell could of made a difference from the bench.
Leatherhead played well very organised and stuck to their game plan where we kind of run out of ideas on how to break them down. That said I think we started our strongest 11 in the strongest setup so no complaints on the personnel. Fantastic header from Watty was the highlight of a pretty poor game where 1 1 was a fair reflection.
The players looked really down as they were coming off as if they felt they had thrown away the points. I hope they can pick themselves up for Saturday.
Still in a strong posistion to win the league and I still think we will do it with prob Hendon pushing us all the way.

The majority of posters were of the opinion that the game was very dire, totalling lacking in any inspiration, although the work rate was commendable, and the Leatherhead boys were not in the mood to be steam-rollered by us. I stand corrected, and maybe it was why the twitter account of the game went a bit quiet in the second half, as not much information was coming across, however we should be thankful that we are in the position that we lead the table at this stage of the season. Being a Stones supporter means that we may expect too much of our players and think that every teams we play should fold up when they play us, in reality, because of our status as the big boys in this league, these teams sees us as their cup final and play their socks off. We have a hard end of a long season yet to go and we must rally in our support for our players and leave the negative comments behind. We will beat Margate next Saturday which should bring back the goodwill factor amongst some of the doubters. Get behind the team and see them through our wish to win the league. COYS

Any reason why Bricknell didn't come on? We were crying out for a bit of mobility up top.
