A good game? That was fuc king turgid. Dress it up how you will but that was dire. Yep fully agree was dire at times. Thought the ref was appalling , although mainly in our favour. Work rate was good but the precision of passing and the pass selection was awful, admittedly the pitch played a part as they struggled aswell. Once again tactically naive against a limited side who stuck to their game plan. I struggle to understand why when their right back was on a yellow for a long period and Matt bodkin had the beating of their left back every time that we chose to go long to jay mays head who their centre back pretty much snuffed out.

No it wasn't dire we defended well apart from one occasion, But we struggled to create anything mainly down to the fact most our passes were all going forward rarther then sideways . We have been dire at times this season but not today our workrate was very good today .My motm Tom mills Mr consistent

Good game as both teams put in a decent shift. Not that we were good in it. They made it difficult for us but we didn't help ourselves in the final third. Our lead in play and quality where it counted wasn't there but end to end, it was an interesting watch. We clearly didn't put it away when we needed to and that's a worrying reocurance with the games we have coming up.

Not a convincing performance by any means but the team took one of very few chances and a point away was a good result in the end. Cracking support today and a good day all in all. Just opened another beer, polished a curry off and gonna delve into the fanzine now. COYS

It was like watching two Kent County teams. It was all crap shooting rather than defending.

Couldn't make today's game, but from what I've heard we had a good game. Looking at the coming fixtures, all the teams chasing title glory have quite a few hard games least of all us. I want us to win as many as possible to see us over the line, so let's get the party starting next Saturday with a win. COYS !

A hard fought point today and the highlit was the cracking header by Watt from a first rate corner by Frannie. I thought JP was looking a little tired today with some loose passing and possession given away. Although the pitch may not have contributed.
Lastly, Probably a lesson for all goal keepers today as to not make hand gestures to the travelling hard core.

Form team or not, if Hendon manage to get through those 4 games in 8 days without dropping too many points then they'll deserve to be challenging for the title. At this stage of the season I know where I'd rather be.

Once again, I did not see a top-of-the-table team today (sorry if Ravy Davy cannot fathom out what that might entail). I saw a huff and puff, hump and pump performance against a decent and compact Leatherhead side who definitely knew how to press us. We had no answers on how to break them down and I am afraid the possession counted for nothing because we made pretty much no chances. I am reading that we were great defensively. Perhaps those people were in the toilet when Leatherhead scored because if that was good defending... Then we come to these predictions of beating Margate. All I can say is that next week would be a good time to start beating the sides at the top because we have had precious little success in that so far.
From what I have seen in the last two games I would not be getting out the bunting too early because we are stumbling towards the title at present based on the fact that Margate don't seem to be able to capitalise. It does seem that Hendon are and, if Hendon can keep going, the two Kent 'giants' might have their noses put out of joint, if they are not careful.
