Currently next to bottom in 1 South & 19 of 24 in the Form Guide. 11 games to go to stave off a fall into what was the Kent League. How can Thanet football be sinking so low ?

Absolutely correct. You actually need to be really poor to be at the bottom of 1 South.

In a way it is sad, because Ramsgate have been a large part of our story over the past 15 or so years. We seldom got anything at Southwood, and often trips there ended in real heartache - who can forget Dave Fisher's last minute miss in the 2002 / 03 season where a goal & win could have got us promoted.

I wouldn't say we've seldom got anything, I've had my car vandalised twice and had some neanderthal take the time to spit on my back whilst walking past the goal. Not fussed at all if they go down

Not fussed at all if they go down I feel your pain JT, I really do. Certainly whilst trying to make a day of it in Thanet I've waited 1 1/2 hours to get served in a restaurant there. Not an especially great experience.

Five way scrap now at the bottom of 1 South:
Hastings Played 40, 37 Points Ramsgate Played 39, 37 Points East Grinstead Played 39, 37 Points Redhill, Played 39, 36 Points Horsham, Played 40, 33 Points.
A couple of noted teams could drop out of this division.

I can't believe Hastings Horsham and Ramsgate are all at that end of the table.

I have seen Horsham play a few weeks ago.
Not suprised by them at all.
Couldn't defend.

What I mean is (for the benefit of late comers) that those teams were so consistent. Horsham had an amazing cup run a few years ago.
