Hanncocks half hour or the goons? Choice is yours. If you're wondering why a spritely young template of a man like me is doing listening to these, its because my dad used to put them on...a lot. And the navy lark but I wasn't so keen on that one. It's a tough call and I can't choose.

The Navy Lark, or sometimes Jimmy Clitheroe, followed by the Archers omnibus edition. Looking back, I wonder how I ever made it through sunday lunch without eating my own liver in despair. To answer the question though, it's gotta be The Goons. A bit too young to get it at the time, loved the reruns when I was a bit older.

Archers is still going. How? Think you're right though, goons shades it for it nuttiness. Remember 'the wrong boots' ?
