While there are many strong contenders for this I have to say that I agree with a few comments on here recently about James Rodgers. He plays in a calm and assured way every game. He has become stand out by not being stand out in that he does things simply and effectively every time.

I think he's one of the main difference between this season and last season. Strong, disaplined and plays it simple.
We're lucky to have sensible centre mids who know the game and don't push too far up. You see it time again that center mids try and playike centre forwards.
For me stand out players this season are Rodgers, Flisher and Tom Mills.

Rodgers has been consistently great this season. I'd find it difficult to choose an outright stand out player since I feel it's strength all over the pitch which has got us results this season. Jay May has done his job fantastically, Flish has been awesome. Sonny Miles has been great, so have Watt and Coyle but Sonny has been there all season doing it.

All the lads have been great.
Frannie, hasn't impressed like last season, not as many goals it seems, maybe stats say I'm wrong.
Flisher has been exceptional, Outstanding to say the least. Worgs has been class. Steve watt has been a great leader.
Jack has been good, but he tits about a bit on the ball.

Frannie has been consistently scoring goals and Worgs usually plays well enough to be man of the match unless someone has a really good game but we've got so used to it that no one is making a fuss. The only player I think really hasn't been any good is Starkey, been pretty awful every time he's played in my opinion.

All of them
You don't get where we are now without every player being outstanding, week in week out, long may it continue

Quite a few candidates this season but only one has played so many roles to great effect, whether it be left back, wide left, wide right, centre forward and that's Alex Flisher, simply different class this season.

Apparently Rogers is so unheralded that nobody can spell his name correctly

I agree, with Watt being out and Coyle playing Center back, this has been his chance to shine and stake a claim. Thought he has been poor when I've seen him this season. Simpson is a much better prospect in my eyes.

How else do you spell James? Is it pronounced James or Ham-ez?

By jingo, you've got it spiralstairs. It's not James Rogers it's James Rodriguez. We literally are the biggest club in non-league.
