Amazing isn't it - Tonbridge, whatever, let's put out the ressies. That was our game of the season not very long ago, or the one we wanted.

So they play JP for 10 minutes then sub him? Or bring him on for the last 5 minutes, does that get his ban served?

Completely blown the mangels out of the water ,in half a season. The difference is huge ,someone on the forum said their biggest game of the season so far was a 2nd round FA trophy tie v Grays Athletic Serious woppie f***in doooo ,Mangels aint got a clue . Compare that to what we have had .!!,it was so huge 350 turned up and Grays had a coach load, was it on TV? did they sell tickets?. Frannie Collin that's what he does ,Worgan makes blinding save to keep us in the game ,May sets up the 1st goal. and Sonny is carried off the pitch as man m o m, i wonder how many Mangels loved it .its all gone Amber.its a Maidstone Milestone. SO now they get two games at "plastic park" im sure they will love watching the famous MFI ,Three times in a month LIVE on Telly and twice on the pitch that's made more dough in one season than they will make in 20-30.

Regardless, I think it's a pretty decent gesture by Steve McKimm to agree to play the game then and shows a degree of class from him. He's probably had Tom Parkinson in his ear but I take my hat off to him.

The reason Steve McKimm has agreed to move the game is so they can play our reserves. It's basically their only way of winning. If we had played them on a normal week, our first XI would have stuffed them.
Regardless of that, I still think our reserves will give them a very good game. Shame Charlie Robertson isn't going to available.

I don't deny that, but considering they are playing a league game on Tuesday night would he really want his 1st eleven, already struggling with injuries, to play 3 times in a week? I think it probably shows Jay has confidence in our academy lads and is willing to risk them as long as it ensures one of our best players can play in our biggest game for years

Everyone's forgetting Mangels need league points ,not a place in the next round of the league cup, teams below have games in hand, another relegation is not out the question. Mckimms done himself just a big favour.

But I can see why both teams would wanted it on the Thursday. Suits us, since JP can play against Wrexham and it suits TA since they will get a shot out our academy players in a winnable cup.

Mckimm dont give a flying, who can and cant play against Wrexham. its Nothing to do with him its not about showing class or favors ,the blokes doing it for his own team.
its all about who cant play against him in a game that he needs to win.
