Just want to get peoples thought on Jay Saunders tweet yesterday.
"Players with agents at ryman level! Sort your self out"
Does this mean that we are potentially looking at a player from another club (with an agent)?
Or is this regarding one of our players?
Frannie Collin goes on to reply "Hahahahahaha not again @bengreenhalgh"
Thoughts please.

Could mean a lot of things, could have just heard about a player with an agent, an agent may have contacted Jay trying to get his client a deal, or probably the least likely in my opinion as I don't think Jay would have publicly complained about it - one of our players may have got an agent.

I think Frannie's reference to ben is just banter. Unlikely anyone at the club has an agent. Possibly some of the former league players at Margate could still have agents, purely as a hangover from where they were before.

Ben was at a pro club so why shouldn't he still have one.
id doubt he is not the only player at the club with an agent.
Are our players Ryman level?,they now play at this level ,but they are hardly bog standard RPL are they?,No they have all been chosen from Clubs that are in the Conference,or CS or just been relegated.The rest are up from our Youth systems.
Agents are a fact of life in football .Bens performance on telly will have put him in the shop window.
I hope we have decent contract offers in place for key players. as we know bigger clubs will come sniffing,Flisher and Simpson in particular,some dont want pro contracts but some will be tempted.
Worse case scenario of our brilliant season would be to lose virtually the whole team ,so dont let it happen ,get key people in talks now .

I totally agree re. Ben, and I suspect Dave U is correct in thinking that Frannie was just having a laugh about the fact Ben has an agent. Maybe he gets a bit of tongue-in-cheek stick from the lads for it. Ben has had a unique career, I think he got signed up after winning the TV series and if the agent is prepared to stick with him, it is likely to be good for him in the future.

Thats interview answers my question. He was looking for a player in case May was out for 3 games.
Fair play to Jay, he doesn't take any s**t. Obviously the players said 'speak to my agent' then Jay said 'No thanks'(in a polite way)
I wonder what players that have agents he was interested in? Can't be many of them in the RPL

Billy Medlock has an agent.Scored lots for a poor Tonbridge side this season.Currently on loan at Sutton but probably not permanent.
