Love his enthusiasm, 5 years get in! What a nice guy. Is he gillingham fan? His youtube name and the flag on the wall, is a bit of a give away Why was he so nice about us? I doubt a Maidstone fan would be like that back. Cheers for clearing that up. Hope he doesn't convert to a Maidstone fan though. |

The hatred ( if that's the right word ) of Gillingham is very much a one way thing. My father in law is a season ticket holder over there and he reckons the mainly wish us well. At the risk of provoking another diatribe from certain people, I will say that I can't understand the bitter rivalry with a club we have only played competitively a handful of times.

I've been quite open about this now but when the die hards went to Biggleswade I went to priestfields with my neighbour.
I wore a Maidstone baseball cap and everyone that saw it was interested in how we are doing and wished us well. About fifty percent said they come when gillingham are away and they want a football fix.
I didn't see this chap so I guess he may have been in Bedfordshire with you lot!
