I really wanted to go, obviously I support the lads, but I couldn't get the transport. I was gutted to be brutally honest. I thought you got public transport to home games? Why not do that then get on the club coach? Just asking like Listen, I'm not making excuses mate. I do get public transport but the train is very costly, bearing in mind I had to get to the game 2 days ago too. We're not all made of money. I would have payed around £30 for the day out.

It was always going to be difficult playing a side that are going pretty well in a totally soulless ground. Always new it would be back to the regular away support but thought a few more might have been encouraged to go on the back of Thursday's performance. After all the 'Maidstone til I die' chants in Society rooms on Thursday I though we'd need three coaches at least! Unless of course I missed an epidemic sweeping through the town! you sure they weren't singing "I'm Maidsdtone 'til midnight"? ;-)
