Plymouth. Police escort for our two coaches Horrible trip back from Plymouth.As if we weren't pissed off with the result the coach stopped off at Basingstoke on the way back. |

I remember going there on a minibus (we couldn't raise enough away support for a coach!). They were in the Isthmian Premier then, whilst we were lording it in the Conference. Nasty feeling they beat us though... They knocked us out of the FA Cup twice, the Micky Dingwall no-show to which you refer and a game in the modern era following a draw at Bourne Park. A bit more of a glorious defeat that one. |

Worst trip back for me was from the Sheffield game. Long, long, VERY slow train, no heating, nothing to eat or drink - and I finished the evening with a migraine. My wife picked me up from the station, saw the state I was in and bizarrely asked "did you enjoy the game?"... |

Agree Salisbury away was about as cold as ive been at a game remember snow on the terrace and parts of the ground was too snowbound to use that day
oh and we lost after conceeding right near the start if i remember correctly
happy days ;-)
