Perfect game - great performance from every player, brilliant goals, the right sub at the right time, fantastic support, great atmosphere - and the right result!!!
No way were we the typical non-league side desperately defending against a superior side, that was a game between two pretty equal sides. Just how much does that say about Maidstone United?!
Twenty two years ago I went through the worst of possible football worlds and watched the club I'd supported for 12 years die. But tonight I saw something I never expected to see again - Maidstone beating a League club in the cup. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Bit worried about the pitch 'invasion' though. The FA is pretty hot on this these days, let's hope they appreciate the circumstances and just let us off with a warning.

Happened at Warrington didn't it and elsewhere? And they got away with it? I remember a perfectly friendly pitch 'invasion' at Upton Park a few years ago (end of season tradition in the old days), and the FA coming down on the club very hard. |

Just as well the linesman went to sleep for our 2nd goal. Look who is offside when the ball is kicked. An eagle eyed S fan spotted it.

Working in the morning on Saturday, I arrived at the GS 10 minutes too late.
[according to google maps, my journey time being all of 5 mins shorter than your's from HB]
