Sad news, was actually talking his goal at Dartford against Hereford on Tuesday. Thoughts are with his family and yes hopefully a minutes silence.

Shocked. I really liked Hesford, I thought he was a very good keeper and at a time when the team were struggling, he certainly had plenty to do - he did it well. What a shame he passed away so young. I totally agree that there should be a minute's silence, it would be fitting to do that in front of the cameras because there will probably be plenty of fans, players and officials from his other clubs watching too who would like that.

Only played the one season but etched himself on the memory of Stones fans (of a certain age) with THAT goal. Let that not blind us to the fact that he was an excellent keeper, and without him we may have gone out of business as a Conference club. One unbelievable save at Crewe sticks in the memory.

Hedford, legend! I'm remember when he scored the winner at watling street. Was if Halifax? Can't remember but I was the ballboy behind the goal in that game. Legend.

Made me laugh when he scored he turned us behind the goal looking for inspiration on how to celebrate. He had no idea !!!!
