No one has said the bloggers are Racist ,i haven't. I said the update,to the initial blog contained a jokey style ,and seemed to make light of the previous nights allegations.What was the point of the update anyway.The only point i can see is that the blogger is trying to be funny. The blog regularly contains reference to unfunny incidents at games and comments made on the forum ,and by other people in local football,from months back that are continuous,and bought up so often ,regurgitated if you like. The alleged comments in the ground are not a laughing matter,so why does the blog update contain attempts at humor?. You ARE related to nws! When in a particularly deep and smelly hole, entirely of your own making - stop digging, get out. |

Have to say that's pretty damming from the Brixton Buzz, I note the Town Enders are pretty silent on the issue.
TBH the stewarding is a disgrace, its not the first time they have focused on innocent away fans when our buffoons are the ones they should be concerned with. But of course when some of them are mates with them, then why should be expect anything different. The sooner we get up the leagues the better, so our fans are kept away from the away lot, as sadly some people still haven't grasped the non-league etiquette after three years...

could i argue that the world needs a quota of racist morons to remind the rest of civilised society that we do not live in the 1970s anymore, that there is a level of moral behaviour that those of us with more fingers than brain cells should never dip below and to remind us all that the shallow-end of the gene pool is a place best avoided i wonder just how many of those small-minded idiots can claim to have never celebrated a goal by any of the many black players to have represented this football club, have never listened to and enjoyed music by black musicians or indeed absolutely refused medical treatment on the basis that the doctor/nurse wasn't a pure-bred anglo-saxon descendant? actually, ignore my opening statement, all racists should be mocked openly and then burnt at the stake - including Santa.... The fans in the Town end need to start a bit of self policing,its always one or two in that end that start trouble by throwing something ,or try to provoke away fans ,or shout extreme abuse. While hundreds of others do nothing ,are they just as bad for standing back? and letting one or two spoil it.! The pic of the stewards from Bxiton Buzz is actually a great spot,that's pretty much the worst of the lot,most are rent-a bouncer and not directly employed by the club as said above its not the first time allegations of bad stewarding has come from Aways.,whilst they do nothing about our real trouble makers on the DH forum one says he was actually punched by a steward. So much security on the top step, to stop someone taking a glass from the bar,we always have so many stewards standing there and chatting with there mates. Please just make it plastic "glass" for everyone and free up about 50% of the stewards to do a proper job. Just like ticket arrangements ,its a learning curve the club needs to sort out the racist scum what ever the tiny percentage ,the object throwers and the rubbish stewards. |

Security/stewarding needs sorting I've spoken in the past to the clubs head of security,about a different matter and he was approachable and helpful.Problem is this current lot are rent a mob type bouncer ,doors on a club one night then a family football club.
Some of our fans have been on the receiving end of this type of stewarding and its not nice.
One of them,in that pic told a friend, a fellow fan yesterday all the Security arrangements for Thursday and the Tonbridge home match,those bouncers are worried about a couple of hundred away fans in the Town End,Stevenage game they are worried about a potential incident that would be live on TV,for Tonbridge they are apparently seriously considering a segregated match,and our club has asked for Tonbridge stewards too attended the game and has asked them to identify any possible troublemakers that may travel to the game .This information should be kept secure.
That may explain the over the top treatment of the normally good Hamlet people who are never any trouble.
Who needs security ,with security like that!!!!!!!

I can't remember when we last had trouble from away fans.
Well, I can, but it was the Man City 'friendly' at London Road!
It's our lot who need stewarding - and our stewards who need sorting out. Read the Brixton Buzz link and it will put you off going to the Gallagher.

But that was at Gravesend, so it was sort of normal there.
