Why are people talking about some no mark club that played at a godforsaken athletics ground that folded in 1992? We're a completely different club.

We are a different club in a pure business sense, but football isn't just about business. I agree with the above - same colours, same name, yes same Bill Williams but perhaps just as important, a considerable number of supporters who stuck with the club right through the Kent Amateur League days until now. Even the original Maidstone Invicta team was made up largely of youth players from the old club - the links go on, and on.
