I know this thread has run its course. But one last point. How many tickets do you think were made available to corporate(sponsors) and staff/player families? It happends alot at bigger clubs.

Presumably Stevenage decided to send what they had back to the club rather than have to keep posting them out Recorded Delivery - probably explains why they stopped selling to Stones fans yesterday afternoon.

Read you t**t ,I didn't say he wanted to go back to the bad days. Just said he should go away and play in Herne Bay You didn't say anything about playing in Herne Bay. If yu cannot read your own posts how do you expect anyone else to decipher the nonsensical garbage you write. Still, if I am playing in Herne Bay I might be scoring at the Town End on 24th. He also posed the question - and i quote - "What do you want the club to do? Piss off back to Ashord and Sittingbourne" - so, yes, I'd suggest you do want nws to go back to the bad days of course, i dare say springfieldstone will deny it again

And I'm quite sure just under 700 were sold in just over and hour on Saturday. I can understand why with the general sale it might have hard to stop people from buying more then one each. But really how hard can it be to mark off every single sale to members and season tickets holder to ensure its not abused here also.

because if an individual has a season ticket and is a member of the fan club - note to toon, not the supporters club - then surely that individual is entitled to purchase two tickets - at no point have the club said that an individual cannot queue up twice, just that they will only be sold one ticket each time - obviously this has been abused (ahem) by certain individuals but rules are there to be interpreted by the individual - and of course general sale is exactly that, a sale to the general public - it would be a logistical nightmare for the club to note each person buying a ticket and ensure there are 2,226 completely different names on the 'sold-to' list
i like this thread - it shows what a bunch of whiny supporters we really are despite all the chest-thumping 'look at me aren't i signing loudly' fans people claim to be

I wonder how the club are going to ensure on Saturday that it is indeed only one ticket per person from the table inside the ground ? Maybe it might be better to sell them though the turnstiles or maybe use your entry token to buy a single ticket. Maybe this would have stopped people from re queueing again and again on general sale? However it would be very disappointing if the club allowed the rules on member and ST sales to be interpreted in this way and then allow it to happen regardless.

Ok, when there was 4 of us selling the tickets to a que of a around 500/600 people, its not easy to keep tabs on who's already qued and who hasnt. Regarding the turnstiles idea not sure this would work and would probably slow the whole process down, whatever the club chose to do would be wrong.

Stevenage sold out at 11am today so no. Perhaps one of the many advocates of the system's in place can explain how this bit worked
