The Ryman under 18's section hasn't been used for over a year so I plan to remove it.

You'd be better off removing the 'Anything NWS' section. The more we encourage that silliness, the more we get NWS/anti-NWS spats all over the forum.

Technically, now the under 18s section has now been posted on. Will it still be removed or will another year now apply, removal wise?

I think the difference is that those topics mostly have regular posts whereas the under18s one doesn't, and there have been occasional posts about the youth and under 21s in the general topic already. I do agree the the anything NWS topic should also be removed as it clearly hasn't achieved its aim.

It never occurs to me to use one of the other sections, but if I did I'd be worried that my post would languish there unread for days! For instance, if you wanted transport to a game, would you post in the Transport Offered section or General Chat? Most people would opt for the place where they're going to get the most views/replies. |

Whit...why not simply change it to youth squads or such like, that covers all eventualities and can keep us in touch with the future,providing someone is willing to keep it updated and i am sure there's enough insider info to do that without to much problem.

I'm guessing the someone to keep it updated is part of the problem. People who've been to youth games have occasionally posted on the general topic so that would seem to be the way to go. At least they'll get read on there. |
