Its amazing that the cup run can add to legacy for future generations of stones fans. Amazingly proud of these guys. Plus the part the players have made. Win or lose next week their contribution will last forever in the new stand.

We are truly blessed with these owners. You only have to look round football to see how bad owners have been in many clubs. The owners get plenty of credit but maybe not as much as they deserve.

I would of hoped for an extra step of concrete to help sight levels ,and maybe an extension to the "ends" ,say the whole width of the pitch,i loved the look of that east terrace at the Lamex, plenty of steps and a roof end to end.
That covered bit of the Town end is seriously too small,a roof corner to corner would benefit hundreds of fans if not nearly a thousand rather than more seats

Also I'm under the impression adding more to the Town End wouldn't necessarily increase capacity whereas seats will help to do this.

It would vastly improve what we have, its about match quality surely ,or is it all about adding more capacity ,how many seats would be added ,im guessing they would be built in the gaps now rather than add height to the stand. if you look at the uncovered sections of the town end ,unless your tall and at the front you cant see. Also would the new seats be available to one and all on a match day ,or would they be taken by season ticket holders ,or people on a waiting list for a seat im a Standing Season ticket holder and prefer this ,but every now and then the option of a seat would be nice.

Adding 350 seats to the main stand and extending the town end terracing. But I think the extra capacity is due to the work on the entrances and exits. I believe their are rules about the maximum capacity of a ground when you only have limits entrances and exits. One question, after this off season work is done. What would the next 'step' be, to improve sight lines and increase capacity?

ive since read that.
350 extra seats is a proper amount and worth doing. But just as important,is work on the Town End ,i rarely go in there i stand on either side of the roofed part and if im late i don't see much.
So great i look forward to it.
You would hope that the club liased WITH supporters club members and asked Fans the view on whats needed,as we stand in all different areas

If both covered ends were moved back just three feet and placed on higher concrete bases, then that would improve the sight lines quite a bit.Wouldn't cost that much either.

There is a four phase plan to develop the stadium. It goes alone these lines.
1. Extend main stand and town end. Add more turnstiles and exits. 2. Develop either Town or Springfield end. 3. Develop either Town or Springfield end. 4. Develop the Medway side.
This is all as long as we keep self funding the aim is to get to six thousand like the lamex

It's just that the cost is prohibitive at the moment. That's why it's phase four.

It can be built on but it's expensive because of the water main. That's why it's last to be developed. There have already been discussions to buy extra land, behind the fence on the Medway, from the council. I must stress this is a long way off and must be in response to continued growth and demand.

Is there a water main along the medway side then? It must be underground as I've never seen it above.
