The long range forecast for the next couple of months indicates a mild, but extremely wet and windy winter. Expect fixture carnage equal to last season's, if not worse

I find it all a load of bullshit most prem clubs weave artificial turf into the real grass and don't hold me to it but has St George's park got a 3G indoors (unconfirmed).the trouble is the leagues are run by old farts that don't move with the times, from championship down its the future I believd when u get to championship u should b big enough to not need the extra revenue to survive(just my opinion )

RESPONSE Dear Mr STYLES Reference CAS-3013237-JC8Z0L Thanks for contacting us regarding BBC Two's 'MOTD: FA Cup Highlights' broadcast 9th November 2014. We understand you're unhappy with the comments made in reference to artificial pitches in football, we note you found them ignorant and inappropriate. These comments were not meant to offend any of the audience, there was a light hearted comment made concerning the change in quality since the 1990's and it was expressed that the Stevenage team may not be used to playing on this surface. It is our contributor’s role to express their views and opinions on the state of play and future predictions, we acknowledge that not everyone will agree but it's the nature of commentary. We regret on this occasion you felt the need to complain and we hope this didn't ruin your enjoyment of the programme. Thank you again for contacting us, we value your feedback. All complaints are sent to senior management every morning and we included your points in this overnight report. These reports are among the most widely read sources of feedback in the BBC and ensures that your complaint has been seen by the right people quickly. This helps inform their decisions about current and future programmes. Kind regards Tanya McKee BBC Complaints www.bbc.co.uk/complaintsNB This is sent from an outgoing account only which is not monitored. You cannot reply to this email address but if necessary please contact us via our webform quoting any case number we provided.

Well there you go Moley , thanks for posting the BBC reply. Great to here that the Beeb responds to complaints. Somehow I do not think Tanya or anyone else from the Beeb listened to what they actually said and what you complained about. " Light hearted comment made concerning change in quality since the 1990's " - yer right, they put down 3g on their experience of the old " plastic pitches " with total ignorance of what the scene is now !! The Stones are one of the oldest football clubs and were saved by a handful of supporters and now by the foresight of owners who gambled on a " plastic pitch " to provide non stop football to over 30 teams and enjoyment for the whole community. Hopefully I am going to get to see the Wrexham game, great Club, stadium, people and pitch - I to like to watch a game played on grass but time moves on - that is if little clubs want to survive in The C21st. I would love to hear Plastic Passion's views on the BBC 's reply to your complaint - if they keep it clean for a change ?! COYS.

Unfortunately that is not a proper reply, it's a generalisation that does not answer the specific points originally raised., the person answering has not grasped the points raised or has no wish to or can not answer them.

The reply does specifically address the points. The answers might be rubbish but they are answers to the points.
